I've been using Picasa from Google (free) for my photo organization and Paint.NET (also free) for image editing. I also occasionally use an old version of Photoshop (v6) that I got at academic rates back when I was a college student but less and less.Mike Clementhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07418040981494491081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3611774824777252862.post-86851000503078919772007-06-06T16:35:00.000-07:002007-06-06T16:35:00.000-07:00Thanks for your comments guys (and gal;-) I love h...Thanks for your comments guys (and gal;-) I love hearing from other PSE users! I have just barely started using a lot of the features but my favorite experiences so far are creating slide shows (easy, not just for genealogy, very versatile, add music, pan & scan feature, more) and the clone tool.

With the clone tool you can fix all those scratches, folds and other problems where a photo is defaced. Much easier than I thought it would be to use.

Finally, I have been scanning slides of old family vacations. I've tried it with different software packages but the results with PSE are fabulous. It allows all those great slides to have their color corrected and exposures altered. Have I said I love Photo Shop Elements?Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09341054605795944624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3611774824777252862.post-12485700139409646662007-06-01T19:02:00.000-07:002007-06-01T19:02:00.000-07:00I just downloaded this program for a free trial, a...I just downloaded this program for a free trial, and I plan to purchase it. I decided to try it after seeing T.K.'s scrapbook. I'm working on my own, and PSE is making it really fun and easy.Dana Huffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04740976543219083443noreply@blogger.com
